Guiding Star CDC’s 2012 Holiday closing schedule
Per our Family Enrollment Agreement:
Guiding Star is closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Day after New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Day after Christmas. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the center will close the prior Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the center will close the following Monday.

*I made an adjustment; instead of closing Tuesday and Wednesday into the 2012 New Year per our Family Enrollment Agreement-we will close Monday New Year’s Eve.
Guiding Star’s Inclement Weather Policy per Family Enrollment Agreement:
Guiding Star will be closed for inclement weather (or any other reason) if the Federal Government has issued unscheduled leave or has closed AND Montgomery County Public Schools are closed.
I communicate any variance in our operating hours the following ways:
v The phone message on 301-229-3004 will be changed to note the day’s plan. My goal is to change this message by 6 AM on affected day.

v I update our Website’s main page with a message-(www.starcdc.com)
v I send emails to families. If you’re email changes please let me know.
